Elephants, Tigers, and Giraffes, Oh My!
Players begin by choosing an endangered species to write about. Over the course of the game, they must use their writing skills to raise awareness about their chosen species and help prevent it from becoming extinct.

Uncovering Facts
A good journalist is skilled in both writing and researching a topic. Players use their detective skills to distinguish facts from opinions and solve the mystery of why their species is at risk.

Structuring Arguments
Once players have gathered their notes and research on a topic, they are tasked with organizing them into a coherent set of arguments. Players earn rewards for using powerful facts and vocabulary words in their paper.

Inspiring Future Reporters
At the end of the game, players can save and print their essay and an accompanying certificate of achievement. On the certificate, players can see all of the reward photos they earned and an inspiring message that reminds them their words have power.
